The location was perfect for outdoor activities like hiking, cycling, and horse riding. the comfortable beds and well-equipped facilities made our stay enjoyable. the property had thoughtful touches like a welcome hamper and a dog-friendly atmosphere. We also loved the extensive estate with beautiful walks and a peaceful setting.
The bedrooms tended to get hot, and opening the windows brought in insects. It would have been helpful to have mesh covers on the windows to keep bugs out.

We had a fantastic stay at Finnich Cottages. the location was breathtaking, with stunning views and beautiful grounds. the cottage itself exceeded our expectations and was even better than the pictures. Check, in and check, out were easy, and Martin, the host, was incredibly nice and helpful. We appreciated the special touches like the doggie bag for our four, legged friend and the welcome basket filled with fresh eggs, tablet, wine, and more. the cottage was also perfectly situated for exploring Scotland, with easy access to Glasgow, Loch Lomond, Stirling, and Edinburgh. Highly recommend!
Liked everything 😊.

The property was amazing and had everything we needed for a wonderful Christmas getaway. the cottage was clean and spacious, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. the location was perfect, with beautiful surroundings and stunning views. We especially loved the cozy atmosphere, it truly felt like a home away from home.
The late check-in time at 4.00PM, which was a bit inconvenient compared to other places. the quality of the bed could have been better, as it wasn't as comfortable as we had hoped.

We had the most amazing stay at Finnich Cottages! The location was absolutely stunning, with beautiful scenery all around. The cottage itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The hot tub was a definite highlight, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. We also loved the common area with the table tennis, table football, and pool table - so much fun! The cottage was well-equipped with modern amenities, from the fully stocked kitchen to the interactive flatscreen TVs in every room. The peaceful surroundings made for a truly tranquil getaway, and we especially enjoyed being able to bring our dog along for long walks in the area. The friendly staff were always on hand if we needed anything, and there was plenty of information available to help us plan our day trips. We highly recommend Finnich Cottages for a fantastic self-catering experience in a breathtaking location!

The cottage was spotless with great attention to detail. Having TVs in all the rooms was a bonus, especially for keeping the kids entertained. the kitchen was well-equipped, making meal preparation a breeze. the wood-fired hot tubs with a view of the mountains were absolutely breathtaking, adding an extra level of relaxation to our stay. We also loved the extensive grounds and the freedom for our dogs to roam without a leash.
The top of the fridge only had a freezer compartment, which was a minor inconvenience. there was no grater available, although we were informed that this issue was being addressed.

Friends were allowed to stay in their motorhomes, which was a kind gesture. the cottage had excellent notes about local history, dining options, and activities. the communal hall had guide books, leaflets, books, and even a table tennis table. the cottage also provided DVDs, including a hilarious film shot on location.
Felt at home instantly, no complaints.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Finnich Cottages. The cottage I stayed in was extremely comfortable and had a well-equipped kitchen, making it easy for me to cook meals. The views from the cottage were stunning, and the location in a beautiful area was perfect for some peaceful relaxation. I also enjoyed taking walks in the nearby surroundings. The cottage grounds were lovely, and the addition of a games hall was a nice bonus, especially on rainy days. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Finnich Cottages.
The only minor drawback was the limited Wi-Fi connection, which made it difficult for me to update my websites efficiently. Additionally, the back door in the cottage I stayed in didn't lock, but there was a stopper in place to prevent anyone from entering from outside.

It was so peaceful and quiet, providing the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing and tranquil getaway. the comprehensive welcome book provided us with a wealth of information about nearby activities, local restaurants, and more. There were a few aspects of our stay that weren't ideal. the property information we received did not accurately reflect the accessibility features of the cottage.

For the price we paid, we got great value! The room was cozy and had everything we needed, including a big TV and a super comfy bed. The location was perfect, secluded with beautiful scenery. The staff was friendly and helpful, even accommodating my cousin's mobility problems with a cottage that had no stairs.
The only thing that could make the breakfast better would be a wider variety of options at the hotel breakfast.
